“Ethiopia 🇪🇹 ~Tomb of King Bazin; One of the Three Wise Men from Axum”

Tomb of King Bazin, one of the ancient rulers of Ethiopia, is in Axum and is one of the most visitped tourist sites.
The tomb is carved directly into the rock, unadorned, and more like the entrance to the underworld.
Bazin was king, according to one version, from the seventeenth to the twenty firs; another in a row ruler of Ethiopia, whose lineage took origin from Savvskoy Queen and King Solomon.
According to legend, Nativity happened in the eighth year of his reign. Ethiopian Church believes that he was one of the wise men who visited the baby Jesus, and gave him a gift of frankincense. When he returned, the said: “The Messiah was born.” Even if this tradition was recorded on papyrus or parchment, it would hardly have reached our days, rather, this oral tradition, which firmly believes and local priests and their parishioners. Therefore, the tomb of King Bazen here particularly respected.
Today is one of the so-called “stones Bazin” built into the wall of the temple Mary Sіenskay in Axum.
The tomb, a vaulted underground building with a large central room and several smaller burial chambers on either side of him. Inside is complete darkness, which creates a mystical experience. No archaeological objects inside the tomb have survived, but the opportunity to touch the ancient stones, a contemporary of Christ, constantly attracts visitors
