“Montenegro 🇲🇪 ~We Made It!”

This morning, we headed back to the hospital on day two, following our COVID19 testing. We stayed two nights in our 20 euro a night cabin, while we waited; which was under budget, so that worked out well.

As luck would have it, though, on this Saturday, when the clinic closes by 1PM, the computers crashed. We hung in there, knowing nothing about our results even being ready, but being told it would be at least an hour wait. Two hours later, we walked out with our negative test results, in writing. It felt like we won the golden tickets!

For those just following, we did not have virus symptom, for reason of testing. (in fact, we already both had COVID19 six months ago, while in Egypt). Anywho, we needed to prove we were free of the virus, before Montenegro would allow us to cross into their country.

Mission complete!

We dashed back to our cabin, and packed up so we could hit the road! We got a later start than we had hoped for, but it all went smooth and being able to cross into Montenegro from Kosovo 🇽🇰 felt really good, after all the hurdles!

It was almost three years to the day we were in Montenegro, before. We spent time in the south, around Kotor. Today, we entered Montenegro from the East. We are heading into the Central region, as we start our adventure. We will head South from there, as that’s where the real wonders are to visit. Eventually, we will head back north to cross over into Bosnia, next.

We came across closest to Rozaje, and drove as far as we could, to Mojkovac

In the big European picture, we are on“here”

For now, we have loved our beautiful drive into Montenegro. We found a hotel in a remote location on our drive in, as the sun went behind the mountains.

We will continue our drive with daylight, as we do not want to miss a moment of these scenic Mountain views!

We have a very nice stay, with great views!

    1. Yes, it’s a regular thing with FB. The robots aren’t very good, and now it’s so political. We are so glad we have this website. Last year FB closed our account we used for our travel posts, from the time we left to travel full time.. (Wrongfully so, but there is no recourse) We lost a years Worth of writing. Pictures are safe, but then I said it’s time to get a website.
