“Daryl’s Hair Journey ~Part V of VI”
It’s Been Five Months Since Daryl Got His New Hair Transplants!
While he is still a little far out from the one-year date of his surgery; which is like the finish line of a great journey, we are both noting some amazing results!

Daryl is back to having the same amount of hair on his head, as he had when we first met! By 2020, he had lost over half of what he had, especially balding on the top.
We are still keeping his hair cut quite short on top, while he continue to gain new hair growth there, to fill in where it is still thin.
Daryls hair has the tendency to all fall forward, instead of in a backward way. (currently, when it’s long, he has a “Nero” look; like the Roman Emperor). This is not the look he is going after, but since one is not allowed to use any product on his hair till that one year point, there is no way to control it at this time. (he has tried) When he can use hair product, he will grow it longer and begin the training process to keep it combed back.

We are wintering in Armenia, and it’s been very cold. Daryl is not allowed to wear hats yet, due to the rubbing hats cause, against new hairs coming in. This makes it difficult for sure, but he has a scarf he wears around his neck.
I am providing a few links to the past posts I have made about Daryl’s Hair Journey, if you are new to our blog site. But, in a nutshell, the reason the journey is a full year, is because it’s the nurturing of the hair roots in a healthy scalp, which produces the new hair growth. So, watching the transplanted hair fall out, was tough, but knowing it’s the roots which ultimately matter, was something to focus on. It appears the roots are doing well!
Yes. the big guy is very happy with the results so far! Me? I like him with or without hair, but I support him in this endeavor as it’s important to to him. I’m also super proud of him for going public with his journey. Men, just like woman, can fight the aging process! I gotta say, I like his hair being back, as I love the sexy blending of his natural salt and pepper coloring. It really suits him.
What do you think? We would enjoy hearing from you in comments, if you have any!
