“Greece 🇬🇷 ~We Moved Today; Santorini”

Today, it became necessary for us to move from our comfy home base in Fira, to a new location in Thira.

It doesnt matter where one end up staying in the cliff side places surrounding the caldera, because Santorini does not disappoint! Dreams Luxury Suits is no exception!
The countdown has begun, as we leave in four days on a five hour ferry, back to Athens. Two nights there at the beach, where we go to city center and pick up our stored bag we left at our first Athens hotel, way back in March (when we thought we would be gone eight days on the islands, and not 2.5 months)! We also need to arrange transportation out of Athens.

On June 25th, we will spend a full day transferring from Athens to Lami, then on to Ioannina. From there we will ride a bus to the border of Albania 🇦🇱. Borders opened in Albania 🇦🇱 on June 1st, with no Quarantine. That works for us! Once in Albania 🇦🇱, we will spend three weeks in the Albania Riviera, before moving on to Vlora. Our last stop will in Durres (near to Tirana).

After Albania 🇦🇱, if country borders open up, further, we will make our way to other (non-EU) European country visits through the rest of the summer!

Well, that is the plan, anyway. In the meantime, we do live in the moment, and take one day at a time!
