“Albania 🇦🇱 ~Something Special Happened”

“Great Story!” 

To help save some of the groceries we had along with us, after exiting the terrible Tirana Resort in Radhime with no cooler; and after a long day driving away, we asked the hotel we came to that night, if they could refrigerate some meat for us in their bar fridge. No problem.

At the suggestion of the hotel, we took our uncooked lamb chops, pork chops and bacon to a nearby restaurant and asked them to cook our dinner for us. We had vegetables, too. Also in the bag was some butter, which Daryl forgot was in there. We laughed, but it came in handy when the restaurant served us delicious fresh bread.

After we ate our dinner, they surprised us with a sample dessert plate of fruit, baklava and cake. So good!

When we were done, we asked for the and check, and noticed they only charged us for the sparkling water! ($2.80) NO WAY! We thanked all three workers and left them all a big fat tip.

We both were quite moved by their kindness at that restaurant by the workers. This Albanian experience was much needed and appreciated, more than they will ever know!

Joy happens, right around the corner, I tell ya!
