“Indonesia and Beautiful Bali”

We arrived an hour and ten minutes earlier into the Denpasar Airport on the island of Bali; a 5.5 hour scheduled flight from Thailand to Indonesia 🇮🇩 We arrived at 12PM instead of 1:10AM. It’s a good thing, because customs is a longer ordeal than most places (Visa on arrival for free-30 days). And, though it was 1:30AM, following baggage claim and customs, we had many SIM card business open. Yay, we got 4g, here in Bali

It would be 3:30AM, before we would get to our villa and crawl into bed; an hours drive from the airport, at a lovely property surrounded by beautiful rice paddies. It would be daylight, before we would see just how pretty our surrounding are. Bali is as beautiful as I had heard it was. We are inland from the coast a bit, in a place called Ubud. Bali has gotten quite popular over the years, and it has plenty of party goers. We chose Ubud for its reputation of the quieter scene..

We are taking a day off and catching up on sleep and must do massages! Dinner was tasty and the prices are very reasonable. $5 dinner, each. It’s raining right now, and with it, a terrific blessing to the humidity. It simply adds to the zen. Tomorrow we venture out to see a few sights. We are here for four days, before we fly on a hopper plane to Komodo Island 🌴

Bali is an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs. The island is home to religious sites, such as the cliffside Uluwatu Temple. To the south, the beachside city of Kuta has lively bars, while Seminyak, Sanur and Nusa Dua are popular resort towns. The island is also known for its yoga and meditation retreats.
