“Indonesia 🇮🇩 ~The Tegalalang Rice Terraces in Bali”

One of my favorites stops; Tegalalang Rice Terrace. We are lunching, with this incredible view, and did a walking tour along the narrow irrigation canal..
A visit to Tegalalang wouldn’t be quite complete without a photo at the

“I Love Bali” sign

After lunch, overlooking these rice patty terraces, we took a walkabout along the irrigation canal area…. so pretty!

This is a traditional Balinese irrigation system known as subak…..Positioned in a valley, the Tegalalang rice terraces offer extremely scenic lookouts over the rice fields and surrounding green landscapes

This is the iconic Tegalalang rice terrace, and one of the most visited tourist attractions in Ubud. We were lucky enough to catch the rice patties, before harvest, when at such a pretty green!
Tegalalang rice fields is a series of rice paddies located close to Ubud, in the centre of Bali, famous for its terraced layout. Also, this time of the year is low season on the number of tourists…..there were no crowds to contend with, just a normal flow of other travelers
