“Egypt 🇪🇬 ~The Nile River; The Breadbasket of The Old World”

The magic Nile, the source for water in a desert that has protectEd Egypt from invaders of jealous cultures.
This source of life, transportation and protectorate of civilization has been viable for tens of thousands of years. Traveling down and up this river, we see ancient structures built by ancestors of people we see in current, every day. Many people are still living essentially the same way people have lived over the eons.

As always, the people living their daily lives shows us what the pulse of life is in Egypt. The people with the beasts  of burden; donkeys, pulling their carts. They are moving in a time warp of learned traditions. The markets are loaded with spices, fruits, meats, and grains that are the same foods vendors sold in ancient times.

Our amnesia of our past, interrupted by catastrophe go on to rebuild and start over. The flooding Nile covering up the past with silt, only to be discovered again by Archeologists, digging up the remnants.

Egyptians had a view of life that did not end with “Westing,” or passing. Egyptians did not have word for death, as death to the ancients meant only the beginning,  of the rest of their life. People of means would prepare their bodies for the next part of life’s journey. A Mummification princess was used to preserve their mortal bodies for the journey up to the Milky Way and across the Universe.
The ancient Egyptians’ attitude towards death was influenced by their belief in immortality. They regarded death as a temporary interruption, rather than the cessation of life. … When they died, they were mummified so the soul would return to the body, giving it breath and life.
